Intervention

Is your friend or family member struggling with drug or alcohol addiction?

Have you considered organizing an intervention effort in order to try to save their life?

If so, then your main objective should be to convince the person to attend professional treatment.

This is almost always going to be the goal of any serious intervention effort.  Other options exist for treatment, but inpatient residential is the optimal solution in almost every case.

It is not enough to merely confront someone and demand changes.

It is not enough to simply plead with them to take action.

Instead, you have to get specific.

If you want specific actions to happen then you have to make specific requests.

It is not enough to plead with someone to attend treatment.  You have to get specific and have a concrete plan in place.

Ultimately, the intervention is a confrontation.  The people who care about the struggling addict are going to convince the person to take action and get professional help.

Do you really believe that the struggling addict or alcohol is in a position to choose a treatment center?  Their life is screwed up due to substance abuse so their choices and decisions are not going to be the best.

If the person agrees to attend treatment, our advice is to have a treatment center picked out in advance.  The ideal situation is to call them in advance and make arrangements.

Keep in mind that any addict or alcoholic who is facing the idea of inpatient treatment is going to be scared to go, whether they admit it or not.  This is especially true if the person has not attended treatment before.

It is this fear that must be overcome if the person is going to take action.

Many drug rehab centers are set up like a hospital ward.  They are not warm and inviting places.

Transformations treatment center was designed from the ground up to be different than traditional rehabs.  We help more addicts and alcoholics to break through this initial fear because we:

* Use tranquil settings in a less clinical environment.
* Employ highly trained staff who actually care about your recovery.
* Avoid the hospital feel by creating a friendly atmosphere and using private room.                                                            .

If your goal is to perform a successful intervention and see your loved one get the help that they need, then Transformations treatment center can help.

We can help you get your loved one back. Call us today.
