• Lack of facilities: Rehab centers provide the addict with a number of facilities. When you undergo treatment at home, you do not have all these facilities at your disposal and you may have to join a club to engage in sports and other physical exercises.

There are times when a patient gets feisty if the staff members constantly force him to participate in something. With experience the staff members come to know about the point where a person needs to be encouraged. In order to carry out a rehab program at home successfully, the addict needs a lot of determination and this determination takes a walk when the withdrawal symptoms come into picture. If the family members of the patient are also not very supportive, it makes it harder for the patient to continue with the rehab program. Therefore the family members should make sure that they help the patient at each and every step of the program.
