It is a serious case if a user becomes addicted to it as then the main focus of life becomes getting high. Opiate addiction is so serious because it tends to slow down the body with continued use of opiates. It can slow down the heart, breathing and brain activity.

Most of the people use this drug to tolerate the pain they are suffering. Using this drug for a long time is not good for human health and causes severe complications. The dangers of using opiates increase when the drug is used with other drugs. The case can go worse if you are using the drug with needles that are not sterile as it can lead to catching HIV or tetanus.
