Transformations Treatment Center offers two different approaches with equal effectiveness in terms of success. We are unique in that we offer a Traditional Track and a Christian Track. We have found that offering both tracks gives our clients the option to explore, challenge, question and ultimately find what works for them. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide the optimal experience with our highly trained staff in both the Traditional and Christian environments.
While we will certainly help you overcome your physical addiction to drugs or alcohol, we are committed to helping you overcome your psychological addiction to drugs or alcohol as well. Every expert on drug addiction rehabilitation insists that counseling/therapy is a necessary part of getting and staying clean & sober. Without understanding your psychological motivation to seek drugs or alcohol you won't truly be able to overcome your drug addiction and alcoholism. At Transformations Treatment Center our substance abuse counselors are highly trained and committed to helping you understand the psychological roots of your drug addiction and or alcoholism. Together you and your substance abuse counselor will intensely work to figure out what your triggers are and WHY you reach for your drug of choice. You and your personal therapists will work diligently and persistently confronting your problems and along your journey you will gain the knowledge, tools and strength to conquer your addiction.
In addition to our one on one intensive individual drug and alcohol abuse counseling sessions, we at Transformations Treatment Center facilitate group counseling sessions as well. We feel that group counseling is an essential and substantial part of any Christian drug treatment program. Many people find group counseling intimidating at first, but the truth is that the trust built up through group counseling sessions will help you learn how to effectively communicate with other people. In small intimate groups you will work on learning how to express emotions openly and trust others. You and your group will work together to build a safe community in which you can talk about your addiction and recovery process. You will start to feel comfortable, safe and relaxed knowing that you are surrounded with others who are going through the same thing.
Our Christ-centered approach to recovery has helped many alcoholics and addicts to overcome their addictions and get their lives back on track to ultimately lead the lives they deserve. Christian substance abuse treatment has proven to be a highly successful form of rehabilitation and our staff here at Transformations Treatment Center is extremely proud of the program they have built and created. The proof that our program works are the miracles we see taking place with our clients and their families.
Studies have shown that people who chose a faith-based approach to addiction recovery are more likely to avoid relapse and stay sober. Christian substance abuse treatment has an exceptionally very high rate of success. When taking part in our Christian drug treatment program here at Transformations Treatment Center, clients will take part in the following:
Pastoral Counseling is a cornerstone of the Christian treatment program here at Transformations Treatment Center. We believe that learning to find and strengthen your faith is essential to staying clean and sober after you have left the safety of our program. Together you and your pastoral counselor will work on learning how to find faith when life’s temptations bear down on you. When you leave our program will be able to meet life on life’s terms. You will learn how to pray and how to use the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ to find inspiration when you are tempted to relapse.
The twelve steps were first developed by Alcoholics Anonymous in the 1930s. Since then they have been adopted by substance abuse treatment programs all over the world-both Christian drug treatment centers and non-faith-based programs alike. The Christ-centered twelve step program here at Transformations Treatment Center involves the twelve steps you might already be familiar with. We teach you how to combine the twelve step program with the Biblical teachings and the teachings of Jesus Christ to help you get and stay clean & sober.
We at Transformations Treatment Center are proud and pleased to be able to provide the opportunity of regular church attendance for the clients taking part in our Christian drug treatment program. Church is available for everyone (whether they are involved in the Christian drug treatment program or our non-faith-based rehabilitation programs) and regular church attendance has proven to be beneficial for addicts and alcohol in recovery. The truth is that regular church attendance helps foster a sense of trust and provides recovering people with a built in supportive community that they can lean on as they work to get clean & sober. The regular schedule of church services provides you with a structured schedule that you can rely on and that is easily replicated once you leave drug and alcohol treatment! Church services can keep you centered and focused and you will feel comforted knowing you can always turn to God.
Without faith and faith-based instruction as an integral part of our Christian drug treatment program at Transformations Treatment Center, we wouldn't be able to truly help you get clean & sober if we didn't educate you on the science of your disease. Learning how your addiction affects your body physically is an important part in overcoming your addiction and maintaining your recovery. You will learn how your drug of choice (and other substances as well) affect your body chemistry and its physical effects on your internal organs. It is a lot harder to pick up your drug of choice once you have the knowledge of exactly what it does to your body.
While the Christian drug treatment recovery program at Transformations Treatment Center is Christian-based and uses the teachings of the Bible and Jesus Christ to inspire clients to get and stay clean & sober, it is important to note that we welcome people of all faiths. The staff and program do not discriminate or promote one set of beliefs as being "better" than another.
The program centers on the Christian faith but everyone is welcome to participate in the program and learn how to find trust and strength in a higher power-whatever that higher power may be.
